In a significant move to bolster local manufacturing and European cooperation, Quantum Systems, a leading innovator in drone technology, welcomed a high-level delegation to its Ukrainian manufacturing site. The visit, led by the Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, aimed to provide a first-hand look at the company’s expanded production capabilities.

The delegation included Arsen Zhumadilov, Acting Head of the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA), and Oleksandr Potiy, Head of the State Special Communications Service. They observed the rapid progress made by Quantum Systems Ukraine, which has built substantial manufacturing capacities in less than a year.

The factory, inaugurated in April 2024 by Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyschin and German Minister of Economy Robert Habeck, has grown its workforce to 80 employees, with plans to expand to 120 to meet increasing demand. This expansion will enable the production of 400 fully locally manufactured VECTOR reconnaissance drones.

We are proud to have built a fully Ukrainian drone company. We built this company as a private initiative, without joint ventures or guarantees. In under one year we achieved full unit production.
